TruGrid Connector Client
The TruGrid Connector enables you to securely connect to workspaces that are reporting into TruGrid from your network. This is used on the desktop you are connecting from.
If you are using a Windows Desktop and using Internet Explorer, the connector will be installed automatically when you click to connect to a workspace, using Microsoft ClickOnce technology.
If you would like to utilize the Chrome browser, please install the TruGrid Chrome Extension. Upon successfully installing the TruGrid Chrome Extension, you will be taken to the installation success page and can then download and install the Client-Side Extension Helper file. We recommend using either Internet Explorer or Chrome. If you are using a Branded site, this extension is required instead.
If you are using a Mac OS X Desktop, you will be prompted, after you login to the dashboard, with a link to install the Mac OS X Connector.
If you are planning to use a Windows 7 user machine to connect from, please refer to Windows 7 platform notes here.
Note the desktop TruGrid connector does require a minimum .NET Framework version 4.6.2.
If you are using TruGrid on a mobile or tablet iOS or Android device, please install the application from the respective app store link below.
Desktop Native Applications
You can also optionally utilize our native desktop connector applications. This will enable launching desktops without logging into TruGrid via a browser. You will get prompted for these in the portal once you login.
TruGrid Authenticator works with TruGrid.com and any site that supports Google Authenticator or TOTP-based two-factor authentication. This can be used for free, even without a subscription to TruGrid.com. If you do use it with TruGrid, then you also get Push Authentication included for free.
Improve your account security with an easy to use multi-factor authentication application. Provides an additional layer of security when signing in to accounts, so that even if someone had your password, they could not access your account. Once setup, when you sign into your account, you will use your login and password PLUS a one-time, rotating passcode generated from the TruGrid Authenticator. This will work even if you are temporarily offline.
