Originally, we found TruGrid SecureRDP because cybersecurity insurance company would not renew insurance without closing inbound HTTPS to our RD Web server. Very easy RDP / RDS software that we setup in less than 4 hours for our client with a 300+ users.

We used it to replace an RDS farm so that we no longer need RDS broker, gateway, or web, and we are able to close our inbound firewall port to meet cybersecurity insurance requirement. Some of the employees also use it to remote in to their PCs from home using their personal devices, but with no VPN.

The technology just works, clients find it easy to use, you get to plug up your RDP or Secure Gateway holes and when you run into problems, they are a quick chat session away. This product solved several security issues for some projects where RDP was the only solution. Really like the flexibility of controlling users to have a full RDP session or just access to a single program with the app streaming function. As is Zero Trust model based, rest assured your servers and data are secure.

We had just added TruGrid to our offerings in January of 2020, and I wish I could claim prescience but it was just good luck. TG solved our remote access problems and provided us a large measure of peace of mind in light of the 100 or so brand new threats (unmanaged laptops) that we were suddenly connecting to our otherwise well secured networks.
