Remote access without an exposed gateway.

Internet-facing gateways keep getting targeted because anyone can reach them. TruGrid connects your users to Windows desktops and apps through outbound-only brokering, with MFA on by default. No inbound firewall ports are exposed for remote access.

Every gateway is a front door to your network.

Traditional gateway-based remote access designs put a gateway on the edge of the network: an appliance or server with an inbound port open to the internet. It has to be reachable so your users can connect. That also makes it reachable to everyone else.

  • Anyone running an internet scan can find it and probe it.
  • Pre-authentication flaws can be exploited before anyone signs in.
  • Patching closes each flaw as it's found. The exposure stays.

Considering F5 in front of Citrix Gateway?

F5 can add traffic management and access policies in front of Citrix Gateway. It also becomes an internet-facing entry point, and one more platform to configure, license, monitor and patch.

Common questions

Do we have to remove our current gateway first?

No. The proof of concept runs alongside your existing solutions. You decide later whether and when to retire the gateway.

Does this replace patching?

No. Keep patching anything you expose to the internet. TruGrid removes the need to expose a remote access gateway in the first place.

Does TruGrid make us immune to attacks?

No product can promise that. TruGrid removes one specific attack surface: an internet-facing remote access gateway with an inbound port open.
